For those of you Verrado Residents, it’s Founder’s Day Weekend, which means if you’re headed to the concert and haven’t got your chairs out, you’re late. 🤣
As for me, I’m still soaking in every second of Buckeye Civic Institute as we’re nearing the end (only a few more weeks 😢).
Last week, we visited the new Buckeye Fire Station 707 and it was another incredible, informative, and fun evening! I’m sharing a bit about that in today’s 5-Second Facts and look forward to doing an in-depth feature about them in the future.

🚒 Last Thursday, as part of the Buckeye Civic Institute, we toured the new Buckeye Fire Station #707 (on Yuma). Holy smokes, I learned a lot! Here’s a few facts—specifically about that station—to whet your whistle:
They operate 24/7 with a crew of 5—each trained at the basic EMT level, with 2 certified paramedics
85% of calls are paramedic-related, 10% involve fire, and 5% other (hazardous materials, inspections, rescues, wildlife response, etc.)
They aim to be out the door within 60 seconds of initial call
Average response time is 7 minutes
