Happy Halloweenie!
I’m not much of a holiday person, but I really do love holidays in Buckeye! Here in Verrado, the buzzzzzz in the air on Halloween night takes me right back to trick-or-treating in ’80s California (#GenX). The kids here are making memories that’ll last a lifetime. I can’t imagine anywhere that does Halloween better than we do!
As for me, every year I swear I’ll decorate (even just one carved pumpkin!), and every year I end up on deadline without a single piece of candy. Costco run later today. See my treat tips in ICYDK below!
And… bonus reason #1,596 I love living in AZ: daylight saving time ends Sunday at 2 AM almost everywhere but here. While the rest of the country resets their clocks, we’ll be snoozing right through it. Your California family will officially be an hour behind the times. Be sure to tell them. 😆 (Fun fact: the Navajo Nation in northeastern AZ does observe DST!)
